The Nishinomiya Plant has a lot of cooling equipment, and one of the issues was to reduce the maximum power consumption, especially in the summer. In August 2020, we installed a solar power generation system to reduce power consumption and CO2 emissions.

Hoko Co. Ltd. switched to high-efficiency boilers and increased the temperature of boiler supply water by modifying tank piping and taking other measures, reducing fuel consumption.

Nipponham Processed Foods Ltd. is reducing electricity use at its Kanto Plant by replacing the refrigeration units used to adjust temperatures at the plant.
