A Message from
the President
The history of the NH Foods Group began 80 years ago on March 3, 1942, amid the turmoil of World War II, with the establishment of the Tokushima Meat Processing Plant by our founder, Yoshinori Okoso. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the consumers, customers, and suppliers, whose support has made it possible for us to reach this milestone in our history.
Last year we defined our vision for the NH Foods Group in 2030 with the formulation of “Vision2030 Unleash new potentials for protein.” We also identified our Materiality, which consists of five key priorities for the realization of Vision2030. We will continue to fulfill the mission and roles that we have carried forward for the past 80 years, while using our imagination to find solutions to social issues and make progress toward the realization of a sustainable society.
We look forward to your continuing support in the years ahead.

The 80th
anniversary logo
Designed to create a sense of upward progress, the 80th anniversary logo symbolizes the determination of the NH Foods Group to move forward rapidly. It also creates a sense of continuity and pays homage to our founding spirit by echoing the concept used in the 70th anniversary logo.
The numeral “8,” which is reminiscent of the infinity symbol (“∞”), and the globe positioned at the apex of the “8” symbolize the diverse and limitless potential of proteins. The image expresses the passionate determination of the NH Foods Group to use proteins to create new paths to the future of food.
